 If you don't want the plastic cover, you can disassemble it with the screws on each side and replace it.

On the black power box, there is a slide adjuster for speed. ( Hard to see in the pic but if you look close you can see about 4 or 6 different settings) I love mine, no problems yet.

NOTE:

1. If the user does not have woodturning experience, they must use the lathe cautiously on low speed and follow other safety measures.

2. The speed can be adjusted in 1500-7000RPM, speed of cutting wood should not exceed 4000, grinding can use higher speed.

3. Drill chuck axis, the axis of the wood, the tailstock centre axis of the drill should be in a straight line or need to adjust the nut.

4. If not a cylinder, the speed should be reduced.

5. Tailstock bearing without lock tight.

6. When using a knife, locking the bottom of the screw, the location should be away from timber 1-1.5cm.

7. If you do not really understand the operation, it is best to consult a professional person.

All small square or cylindrical wood, such as labour rose, yellow pear, arborvitae, etc.

Draw diagonal lines on the side of the square material, find the centre point, and when clamping to the machine, make the timber close to the centre point.
